Bisley Workshop presents our Bisley ToolStor Mobile Height Adjustable Workbench - 1500 x 750 x 945 - 1245mm - BIS610263W. Our fully welded braced framework workbench provides a robust industrial work surface that is capable of supporting a top load capacity of 540kg UDL whilst also being mobile. It has been designed to perform well and withstand most arduous production, assembly or engineering activities in the most industrial workplace environments. The BIS610227W is a 945mm to 1245mm adjustable height mobile workbench that provides the same application abilities as a fixed height bench but can be raised or lowered to suit the working height of the operator. The bench is also mounted on 105mm high, 180kg capacity castors, allowing it to be moved around the workplace with ease. All castors have swivel motion with two also being braking castors.
The BIS610227W has a choice of industrial grade 40mm worktops that are 1500 x 750mm in size. The overall dimensions for this unit are 1500 x 750 x 945 - 1245mm. The BIS610227W is a UK manufactured product by Bisley and supplied fully assembled for your ease and immediate use.
The intelligent design of the BIS610227W means it can function as a standalone bench or as part of a modular installation alongside other Bisley ToolStor workshop products. The attractive design and well engineered components create a high end professional workbench that makes use of Bisley’s modern and impressive manufacturing capabilities that better user ergonomics. Our patented design and construction makes this ToolStor framework workbench modern and attractive whilst also supporting some of the highest industrial specifications required in market.
Mobile Workbench Frame:
Unlike competing workbench end frames that have three separate sheet steel sections that are folded to create strength and welded together, our BIS610227W end frames are constructed from a single piece of 60 x 40mm heavy gauge steel box section. This box section is laser cut, folded and then fully welded to create the traditional ‘H’ shape end frame but with a dramatically increased level of strength. Each end frame construction is then completed with a 60 x 40mm box section welded as a cross member for additional stability and rigidity. Durable steel box section stringers pass through the end frame through a series of cut outs, rather than just being welded to the outside surface. The three stringers connect each end frame together which subsequently creates an incredibly strong workbench frame on which a selection of 40mm worktop can be fitted.
For height adjustability, our welded end frames each house 55 x 35mm legs which slot inside the 60 x 40mm box section, thereby providing the ability to increase the working height from 945mm to 1245mm. Each 55 x 35mm internal leg has 17 threaded holes that provide height adjustments in 25mm increments and secured using the supplied fixings.
For increase user ergonomics, the end frames 700 x 800mm dimensions provide any fitted worktop with a 25mm overhang front and back and a 30mm overhand at the sides. All parts of the frame are finished in Bisley’s renowned hard wearing epoxy mid texture powder coat in RAL7035 light grey.
The versatility of our 1500 x 750 x 945 - 1245mm workbench allows a choice of well designed options such as pivot action adjustable feet or a ground bolt bracket. These accessories can be fitted at the time of ordering or retrospectively to suit your workspace applications as and when needed. This adjustable height mobile workbench comes with four heavy duty rubber tyre castors. This allows for mobility around the workplace, whilst still being able to safely support a top load capacity of 540kg UDL.
Heavy Duty Castors:
Two of the four castors incorporate a traditional pedal brake into the full 360 degree swivel motion, thereby not compromising either the bench’s mobility or stability. Each rubber tyre castor has an individual load capacity of 180kg. The corrosive resistant and solid pressed steel construction makes our castors ideal for heavy dynamic loads, towing and when shock loading is an issue.
Each castor is securely fitted to the end frames through a thick M10 bolt that provides a very strong fixing.
Industrial Choice of Worktops:
We offer a wide selection of industrial worktops including beech multiplex, lino, esd, stainless steel clad, solid beech and laminate. All tops are 40mm thick for the utmost durability.
Beech Multiplex (Mpx): A 40mm hardwood, resin bonded beech plywood worktop that is suitable for most industrial production and maintenance applications.
Lino: A 38mm particle board core with a 2mm marble grey linoleum surface that is bonded and edge banded. This worktop is ideal for assembly applications as it is easy to clean and is resistant to most oils, chemicals and acids.
Electro Static Discharge (ESD): A 38mm electro-conductive particle board core with a 2mm electro-conductive laminate surface that is bonded and ABS edge banded. This is a specialist top that works well in static free laboratories or where static discharge is an issue.
Stainless Steel Clad: A particle board core with a stainless steel clad surface. The stainless steel edges are dressed for superior protection over longer periods of use. Ideal for engineering, production or mechanical based applications.
Solid Beech: A 40mm solid hardwood block board in beech. An all rounded high end, high load bearing worktop for most benching and woodwork applications.
Laminate: A 39mm particle board core with a 1mm laminate sheet top that is bonded and edge banded. This is our most economical top and is suited for general/light applications or assembly operations.
